Jellicoe Street
Eke Panuku Development Auckland
Jellicoe Street was revitalised as part of the early development of Wynyard Quarter, transforming a former industrial route into a welcoming waterfront street for pedestrians, visitors and the wider public.
Delivered ahead of the 2011 Rugby World Cup, the upgrade introduced landscaped rain gardens, public spaces, artwork and improved connections through the precinct. The design retained strong references to the area’s working waterfront history while helping establish Wynyard Quarter as one of Auckland’s key urban destinations.
